Day 1: Arrival for your Uganda Safari

Our friendly guide will welcome you to Uganda at Entebbe airport and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Enjoy the fresh breeze from Lake Victoria – 2nd largest lake in the world.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest – Primate Capital of the World!

Start the journey to Kibale forest – the primate capital of the world after breakfast. This forest is home to 13 species of primates. The journey just like most highways in Uganda will take you through villages and several vegetable markets.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in their natural habitat
Chimpanzees live in several areas in Uganda but Kibale forest is the best place to see them. After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to the briefing area where you will be allocated different groups each with a ranger guide. Your ranger guide will lead you into the forest to start on your chimp trekking. The trek can take anything from a few minutes to about 2 hours before you locate the chimpanzee. You are allowed to stay one hour in the their presence after which you return to your lodge.

In the afternoon, take a walk in the Bigodi community for a coffee experience with a local farmer, traditional banana beer making, traditional healer experiences and basketry.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today morning after breakfast, start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. The journey takes you through the beautiful crater lake region overlooking the mountains of the Moon.

Have an afternoon game drive in the crater drive track in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 5:  Game drive and Boat Safari

Use the morning for a lion tracking experience and continue on a game drive exploring this beautiful park which has diverse habitats. Look out for several big and small game found in the park like Elephants, Waterbucks, Kobs, Buffaloes, monitor lizards etc.

In afternoon, take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. It is a perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying the breeze on the water channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George. Look out for the rich birdlife, crocodiles, Hippos, Elephants coming to drink etc.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park driving through several villages. You will continue to your lodge in Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Day 7: Uganda Gorilla Treking Experience

Walk to the briefing point where you will be allocated a gorilla group and national park ranger guide. Your ranger guide will lead you to a gorilla trek into the forest, sometimes you are allocated a group that requires you to drive a distance before the starting point. Once you locate the gorilla group, you are allowed to spend one hour with them before you start your descent back to the starting point.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure Flight
After an early breakfast transfer to Entebbe with a flight. We hope you had an amazing time and we look forward to host you again.
