Kidepo Savannah Lodge

Kidepo Savannah Lodge is located on the edge of the stunning and beautiful Kidepo valley national park in the north most corner of the country.  The Lodge offers visitors breathtaking views of the magnificent Narus Valley where most of the Kidepo safaris and game drives happen, the Morungole hills and several distant mountain ranges which form the border with southern Sudan. Inspired by the Savannah surroundings, the grass lands, rocky outcrops and the Karamajong tribe with their colorful blankets and typical manyattas, Kidepo Savannah lodge is an place for your safari to Kidepo valley national park.

While at Kidepo Savannah lodge you most likely to see elephants, African buffaloes, oribi and waterbucks feeding below the lodge. At dusk, night and early morning you might have the chance to see stripped jackals and you can occasionally hear the spotted hyenas laugh and a variety of birds especially the African dwarf eagle at night.

Kidepo Savannah Lodge has beautiful self-contained safari tents and comfortable lazy camping tents. The safari tents at the lodge have comfortable beds and open air bathrooms. The self-contained safari tents are very spacious and luxurious with a private bathroom that has a shower, sink and toilet. . With a seat outside each safari tent visitors can sit, lie back, and relax as they overlook the beautiful Narus valley.

Kidepo Savannah lodge also has lazy camping tents with shared sanitary facilities which are ideal for visitors travelling on budget. The shared sanitary area has separate showers and toilets and the area is close to the tents. The tents at the lodge have mosquito nets and each tent is furnished with two single beds and two chairs which are outside the tent.

The main building of the lodge has a restaurant and lounge with a terrace. The lodge offers cold and hot drinks at the well-equipped bar and their restaurant offers a range of good meals. Kidepo Savannah Lodge can be booked on bed and breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
